Does a home battery pay off for you? EnergieThuis simulates a full year, quarter hour by quarter hour: 35,040 moments where the battery charges, discharges or idles.

The simulation uses all-in prices (including energy tax), the difference between discharging into your home and feeding back to the grid, and net metering with its limits. A day planner decides when charging makes sense without breaking physics: charge before discharging, never more than fits, never faster than the inverter allows.
